3D View Manipulation Toolbar

The 3D View Manipulation toolbar on the left side of the 3D View window provides quick access to the most commonly used view manipulation operations.

Sets the View Limits and Options. |
|
|
Zooms in on the current selection or the current element if no selection has been made. |
|
|
Zooms in to those selected in the Drawlist. |
|
|
Centres the view on the origin point of the current element. |
|
|
Sets the middle mouse button action to zoom rectangle on the 3D View. Press and hold down the middle button to drag out a rectangle around the items of interest. Releasing the mouse button will cause the selected objects to fill the 3D View window. |

|
Sets the middle mouse button action to zoom 3D View in/out. Press and hold down the middle button and move it up and down the 3D View window. |
|
|
Sets the middle mouse button action to rotate. Press and hold down the middle button and move it from side to side or up and down in the 3D View window. |
|
|
Sets the middle mouse button action to pan. Press and hold down the middle button and move it in the 3D View window. |
|
|
Sets the middle mouse button action to Walkthrough. Note: Only works in perspective views. In this mode the eye point moves towards or away from the model. Press and hold down the middle button and move the mouse up to walk towards the model or down to walk away from the model. |

|
Toggles Clipping using the left-hand mouse button. The button has its own shortcut menu obtained by clicking on the button with the right mouse button. |

|
Clips the 3D View to the current element. |
|
|
Pick object to hide or right-click for draw options. |
|
|
Apply Representation Rule Set. |
|
|
Toggles to show or hide the World Axes icon in the 3D View. |
|
|
Displays the Save and Restore Views window. |
|
|
Displays the Advanced View Control window. |
