Waterlines with No Endings

In some cases there may be a requirement for some waterlines to have no endings. In other words, there is no end surface at certain waterline heights. To obtain this, set the radii curve points to zero at those waterline heights.
For example, to generate the end surface below (see Figure 3:83 below) with an omission between waterline heights 9.908 and 11.258, generate a radii curve with zero values in this region (see Figures 3:84 and 3:85 below).

Note that this end surface will produce circular endings above a height of 11.528 and elliptical endings below a height of 9.908 such that the radius is normal to the profile. This is achieved by generating the eccentricity curve shown in 3:86 below.
