Fire Protection Fitting

A fire protection fitting is created by selecting Create > Fire Protection Fittings on the Furniture, Fittings and Fixtures - Element Tasks window (refer to Element Tasks) to display the Create FPFITT window specific to the creation of fire protection fittings.

The functionality of this window is covered in Create New Element.

Clicking Select Fire Protection Fitting Specification allows the user to choose a specification for the fire protection fitting from a list of specification shown on the displayed Choose FPFITT window.

Clicking Apply closes the window and populates the Specification section on the Create FPFITT window with the selected specification.

Selecting Create FPFITT creates the fitting in the database and displays the Modify FPFITT window which allows the user to update the attributes, specification and location of the fittings.
