When Integrator builds Cable in 3D the following actions are carried out.
-
The names of an appropriate SITE and ZONE are determined from the rules.
-
A CABLE is created in the appropriate ZONE and named in accordance with the rules.
-
Start and End references are set in accordance with schematic connectivity if the connecting objects exist in 3D. Connections can be direct to equipment using the ELCXRF attribute or to ELCONNs.
-
Attribute values can be set on CABLES in accordance with the rules.
-
The schematic and 3D objects are linked.
Integrator does not create CORE objects below 3D cables, even if the schematic cable owns schematic cores. If needed, schematic core data can be referenced from 3D via the owning cable's SCHLNK attribute.
Integrator builds the individual cables for a Schematic Multi-Cable (SCMCAB). There is no 3D equivalent of SCMCAB.
