Outfitting

Data definitions for outfitting Transfer Items are transferred via datal files. To maintain references between items within a Transfer Set a datal file representing a Transfer Item is split into two parts. One part building the element structure for the item transferred and one part managing reference attributes. At import first all data files building the element structure are executed then all data files setting references are executed. As for any type of Transfer Item renaming is specified by connecting a PML rename function to respective element type in Item Settings file where also an option for subordinate renaming is worth considering.

A prerequisite for outfitting elements to be copied is that they have a name. The mechanisms to maintain/update references rely on element names.
