Overview of Transfer Process_Raw Profiles_Marine

When AVEVA Marine publishes the raw profiles, an ‘Update’ notification is sent to the Notification Service and further to AVEVA Integration Service that in turn sends this notification further to AVEVA ERM. When AVEVA ERM receives the notification, it can request for the available raw profiles data published in AVEVA Marine and import it in AVEVA ERM. The raw profiles transfer from AVEVA ERM to AVEVA Marine works in a similar way.

AVEVA ERM can also retrieve raw profiles from AVEVA Marine without receiving an 'Update' notification by connecting to AVEVA Integration Service. To do this, AVEVA ERM must send a request to the Integration Service and the service, in turn, retrieves data from AVEVA Marine.

AVEVA ERM-Design Integration uses the RawProfile_Published DB view or the RawProfile PML function to retrieve raw profiles data from AVEVA Marine (Dabacon) database. The DB view or the PML function collects all raw profiles data from AVEVA Marine with status “Published”.
