A group of points can be sorted in ascending or descending x, y or z value.
Re-order a group of points

Select the points.
Note: It is not necessary to select the whole line; selecting the x/y/z cells is sufficient.

Select the Right Mouse button over the column in which the sort is required (x, y or z) to pop-up the menu.

Select either ASCENDING or DESCENDING.
