Boundary continuity (adjacent patch boundaries have the same spatial position) is always enforced between neighboring patches. Tangent continuity (the surface of adjacent patch boundaries have the same tangency) can be suppressed.
Once continuity has been set between two patches, the direction of continuity cannot be changed. An error will be displayed if an attempt is made to change the continuity of a patch which displays continuity FROM in the Surface Patches dialog.
