Design Reuse can copy all engineering items and datasheet instances between projects.

Objects exportable/importable by design reuse:

• Engineering items

• Datasheet instances

Prerequisites for the import of hull transfer items are:

• The required datasheet templates, definitions of distributed attributes, UDA's and UDET's have to be defined in the target database prior to the import of a Transfer Set.

Limitations:

1. All parents of the exported element have to be named.

2. Exported elements should be named. If not, the import may create duplicate items when the imported element already exists in the target database.
