If you are going to use PLOT to generate hard copy directly, this can be done by printing from the graphical window created by the screen driver. This method uses a normal Windows Print control to select, configure and use any available print service.
It is also possible to send plot files directly to a printer or plotter using the Windows print command. This method allows the user to take full control of the printing operation, and responsibility for the compatibility of the file type with the device. For example the command to send a PostScript file to a printer service that supports and recognizes this file format would be as follows for a shared printer:
print /d:\\servername\printer_name plotfile.ps
