Furniture, Fittings and Fixtures

The Furniture, Fitting and Fixture (ELFITT, HVACFI, FIXTUR, FURNIT) elements are used to define the design criteria and basic definition of room fixtures, fittings and furniture.

Furniture, Fitting and Fixture tasks can be accessed from the Main Detailing Tasks window.

1. Clicking Detailing on the Room Design toolbar displays the Main Detailing Tasks window. Refer to Room Designer Detailing for further information.

   

2. Selecting Furniture, Fittings and Fixtures displays the Furniture, Fittings and Fixtures - Element Tasks window.

   The entry point allows the user to define a storage area that will be used to store any created elements in.

   Furniture, Fittings and Fixtures are created under an appropriate ROOM or WALL (CTWALL) element.

   

   Appropriate storage areas are displayed in the main list at the top of the window; in order to populate this list with relevant areas the user can use one of two methods:

   Graphical selection	by selecting elements on the screen (either individually or by using a crossing window) and clicking Graphical selection on the window. This will look at all selected elements and derive a list of storage areas based on the selection.
   Current Element	the user can select any element in the design hierarchy and by clicking Current Element the application will search for all valid storage areas relative to the selected element.

3. The user selects the storage area in which the new elements are to be created by selecting a row in the list at the top of the window, with this selected element creation, modification and deletion are accessed by clicking Edit Selected Element to display the Furniture, Fittings and Fixtures - Element Tasks window.
