Crash Stop Manoeuvre

This module calculates the stopping distance and time to stop in a crash stop manoeuvre. The following differences arise between the two ship types:

Merchant

Shallow or deep water.

Assumes the ship is fitted with a diesel engine.

Naval

Deep water only.

Both methods use the available astern power and astern rpm entered by you. After performing these calculations, the program will output the stopping distance and time.
