Modification in Spool Utility

The spool list can be modified by the addition, combine or removal of elements that make up the spools.

Note: Only HVAC elements next to each other in the run of HVAC can be selected.

Add Spool Elements

1. From the HVAC Spool Manager window, select the spool which the HVAC components are to be added to.

   Note: The select spool is highlighted red in the 3D graphical view.

   

2. After selecting Add Spool Elements, you will be prompted to Pick HVAC components to add to the selected spool or <escape> to complete.

3. The spool element to be added must now be selected. In the 3D graphical view, select the spool element(s) to be added to the selected spool.

4. When all the spool elements have been selected press Esc on the keyboard.

5. The spool list must now be regenerated and verified:

   Add Spool Elements (by picking last only)

   From the HVAC Spool Manager window, select Add Spool Elements (by picking last only) to add a range of elements to the spool by selecting the last of the required elements.

   Combine Spools selected in HVAC Spools list

   From the HVAC Spool Manager window, select Combine Spools selected in HVAC Spools list to convert two selected spools in HVAC Spools List into a single spool.

   Remove Spool Elements

   From the HVAC Spool Manager window, select the spool which the HVAC components are to be removed from.

   

   Note: The selected spool is highlighted red in the 3D graphical view.

6. After selecting Remove Spool Elements, you will be prompted to Pick HVAC components to remove from selected spool or <escape> to complete.

7. The spool element to be removed must now be selected. In the 3D graphical view, select the spool element(s) to be removed from the selected spool.

8. When all the spool elements have been selected press Esc on the keyboard.

9. The spool list must now be regenerated and verified.
