Framework Groups

During the creation of a multi-discipline support, prefix FT, the Multi-Discipline Frameworks form is displayed, from which the MDS designer selects a framework type to create. An initial selection is done by choosing one of seven framework groups, from which the required framework is selected. Icons are used to represent the groups, which are as follows:

• L Brackets

• Cantilevers/Posts

• Pedestals

• Frames

• Braced Brackets

• T Posts

• Miscellaneous

These icons are available for selection from the Framework Groups drop-down list. Selecting an icon associates the selected framework with that group. The group’s name is shown underneath the Framework Groups text.
