Graphics windows are created by clicking the New Window icon,
. There is no limit on the number of windows the user may have on the screen.
An existing window can be closed by clicking the Close Window icon
, in the top right corner of each window.
Each graphics window also has the following information displayed in it's title bar:

View: as the system can use several window types, this status the window type for example, Wat for waterline.

Zoom: displays the current zoom factor of the window.

Status: indicates whether the window is locked or unlocked.
Each graphics window has the following interactive capabilities:
Interactive spin
By clicking the Left Mouse button in Isometric view, the design can be rotated around x and z axes.
Interactive zoom
By clicking the <Ctrl> Key with the Left Mouse button and dragging the mouse up (zoom in) or down (zoom out), the user can quickly zoom in and out of the design. This can also be initiated by the ZOOM/CURSOR command.
Interactive pan
By clicking the <Shift> Key with the Left Mouse button and dragging the mouse, the user can quickly pan the design around the graphics window. This can also be initiated by the PAN command.
Moving the cursor using the keyboard
The arrow keys can be used to move the cursor around a graphics window
Accepting a cursor operation
A cursor operation can be accepted by clicking the SPACE Key or the Left Mouse button.
Cancelling a cursor operation
A cursor operation can be cancelled by clicking the <Esc> Key or the Right Mouse button.
Refreshing the current graphics window
During a cursor operation, the graphics window can be refreshed by clicking the F5 Key.
Cursor position feedback
The current position of the cursor in orthogonal views is given in the status bar.
Basic operations for changing views, windowing, zooming, clearing and redrawing are available from a popup menu activated from the Right Mouse button. These are equivalent to the operations available from the View menu and toolbar (see View and View Toolbar).
