Hull Text

A Hull text is an arbitrary sequence of characters and symbols selected from any of the possible sources. Handling of hull texts are done with the function Hull Tools>Hull Text, which includes the following possibilities:

• Creation of a new hull text (along with simple key-in of standard text and setting properties like symbol height, spacing and text direction on character level).

• Modification of existing hull texts.

• Storing a hull text for later projection and creation of hull mark object.

Hull text objects are stored as drawings of a particular kind (‘Hull mark texts’).
