Recommendation on the Provision and the Display of Manoeuvring Information Onboard Ships

In pursuance of the Recommendations on Data Concerning Manoeuvring Capabilities and Stopping Distances of Ships, adopted by resolution A.160(ES.IV), and paragraph 10 of regulation II/1 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, Administrations are recommended to require that the manoeuvring information given herewith is on board and available to navigators.

The manoeuvring information should be presented as follows:

1. Pilot card

2. Wheelhouse poster

3. Manoeuvring booklet
