Hangers Design Templates

Hangers designed using supplier-specific hanger components are template driven. A default set of templates, in a SITE called /MDS/HANGERS, is supplied with the application. Each hanger configurations template has its own ZONE. Each size of a given hanger’s configuration is represented by a REST component. Two sets of hanger templates are supplied with the application, one for each hanger components supplier (GRINNELL and PSL).

Data Sheets

Each hanger’s configuration, whether fixed, variable, single or double, has an associated application standard data sheet. For some companies it might be a data sheet for the available hanger’s components; in other companies it might be a data sheet for the specific hanger’s configuration.

All of the application standard data sheets are accessible to the designer, either via the MDS User Guide or from within Design module on the Create and/or Modify Support form(s) for each support type, via a View... button on these form(s).

To configure templates the Administrator requires read/write access to the hangers design templates database.
