Connect Adjacent Sections

Connect Adjacent Sections allows you to insert joints on a section element, where joint details are copied from an adjacent section. The option can only be used with angle sections (GTYPE ANG).

A joint specification will be set on new joints created by this function if a suitable joint can be found in the catalogue. If a suitable joint is not available in the catalogue then a simple joint connection is made as it would be if the Connect > Connect menu function in the Beams & Columns application had been used.

Note: The standard joint data provided with the master project can be found in CATA /ENDCUTS/CATA and SPEC /SPEC/ENDCUTS/ANGLE/ANGLE.
