Adding Further Spacing

Containers within a bay definition are spaced according to the separations associated with the underlying container definition.
Occasionally, the model may require additional spacing between one-or-two rows, or even between neighbouring tiers. This can easily be accomplished by using the Set Spacing command qualifiers, for example:
BAY "newbay" SET SPACING TIER "4" 0.1
BAY "newbay" SET SPACING ROW "1" 0.2
BAY "newbay" SET SPACING ROW "3" 0.2 /REFLECT
SET SPACING TIER adds the extra spacing above the selected tier. Therefore, extra spacing is not allowed for the last tier.
SET SPACING ROW adds the extra spacing to the port the selected row. Therefore, extra spacing is not allowed for the last row (which will be generated on the port of the vessel).
Alternatively, the Bay Definition dialog can be used to add such spacing:

Select a grid column. Click the Right Mouse button to display the pop-up menu with options to add <- Space Port and Space Starboard ->. Selecting either of these will display a dialog to allow you to enter the spacing.
To remove an existing space, do the same as above, but enter a space of zero.
For completeness, spacing may be added between tiers by selecting the Vertical button and selecting a grid row. Menus are available for adding spacing above and below the selected row.
