Type Tab - Surface Patches Dialog

The Type tab is used to change the defining curves or generation method for existing manual patches.

Select the generation method from either Scatter, Boundary or Regular. Then select the defining curves as appropriate, either a combination of Sections, Waterlines and or Buttocks check boxes for scatter or an individual orthogonal curve type from the Defining Curves pulldown list for regular. Select the relevant patches from the list or the All check box and click the Set button.

The Auto fit check box is used to automatically fit the surface patch after changing its definition, to disable this option it must be deselected. The Show Points toggle check box can be used to display the generated points.
