Customizing Default Files of Type IP

All default files with extension IP are possible to customize using the two keywords:

• START_GROUP_<customer name>,

• END_GROUP,

<customer name> is any name provided by the user.

Below is showing a part of an IP file with a group keyword added:

By using groups in IP files, the actual keywords that shall be assigned can be selected at run-time. The executed program will use all keywords that are outside any groups plus the ones that are inside the selected group. Below is shown an example of the selection of user-defined groups when activating programs via the Hull PPI:

Default means that no group will be selected, only the keywords, if any, outside the groups will be used.
