Support Programs for Planar Hull Modelling

  • Certain functions of Planar Hull Modelling can preferably be performed in batch processes as an alternative to doing them in Planar Hull Modelling itself. A typical example is the derivation of picture information from the model. There are two separate programs, one for pictures from plane cuts with the model, another one for shell expansions.

    • The resulting pictures must be brought into the actual Planar Hull Modelling system to be developed to drawings.

  • There is a special subsystem related to Planar Hull Modelling, which analyzes the topology of the model created in Planar Hull Modelling. In case of changes this system helps in analyzing the consequences and assists in updating the model.
