Selecting the Regulations - Freeboard icon, followed by the Edit command in the sub-menu, opens the Freeboard dialog. This dialog uses what are termed tab sheets, (a dialog containing overlapped sheets), and in order to access a particular sheet, (that means, to bring it to the front of the dialog), click one of the tabs at the top of the dialog. By default, on opening, the General sheet is selected, the other available sheets in the dialog are Superstructure and Freeboard Deck.
Much of the information that is input into the following tab sheets will need to be extracted, by you, from the vessel’s general arrangement drawings, , even though some of the data is implicit within the hull geometry input file.
It should be noted that in tab sheets that the OK and Cancel buttons are common to all sheets in the set and, for example, clicking the OK button signifies that the data has been entered or edited on all sheets and not just on the sheet that is on the display when the button is clicked.
