Create Ceiling Tiles

Ceiling Tiles are created using the Ceiling Grid Detail window (refer to Modify Ceiling Grid Detail).

Searching for Tiles

The X Length and Y Length values are set as default to the Grid Spacing values of the Ceiling Grid element. These act as a filter when searching the catalogue for Tiles to fill these cells.

1. Selecting Select Tile Specification displays the generic selection window, Choose Ceiling Tiles, showing all of the Ceiling Tiles in the catalogue which match the size criteria set in the X Length and Y Length fields.

   

2. With the Tile specification selected, clicking Select closes the window and populates the Specification field on the Ceiling Grid Detail window.

Create the Tile Set

• Selecting Create Tiles on the Ceiling Grid Detail window will then create Tiles in the cells on the Grid which match the size of the Tiles.
