End Surface Creation Page

Used to control how the end surface is created - in particular, whether or not the half siding approach is used.

Use Half Siding Approach

Check this in order to use the half siding approach to creating the end surface (see Creating the defining curves using the half siding approach).

Half Siding Knuckle

Select the curve that is to be used as the half siding knuckle (this must already exist).

Create Normal Eccentricity Curve

Check this to make the shape of the end-surface approximately circular in a plane that is normal to the profile curve when using the half siding approach. This causes an eccentricity curve to be created automatically, which will overwrite any existing eccentricity curve.
