Create the Transition Curve

As described earlier, the transition curve determines the point at which each original waterline is truncated for the ending to be attached. The transition curve is created as a boundary curve and stored under the "Boundary" branch of the curves list. The transition curve is typically created interactively by selecting Transition Curve on the End Surface page of the Curve Endings dialog. Using this method, the curve is digitized in a buttock view and then faired or modified in the usual way.
