This manual gives an overview of changes since the previous major release: AVEVA Hull and Outfitting 12.0. It is aimed primarily at users upgrading from that release; those upgrading from earlier releases should also read the AVEVA Hull and Outfitting 12.0 User Bulletin, preferably the edition issued with Service Pack 6.

This bulletin also covers many of the associated products supplied on the same DVD-R. These products fall into 3 families – Engineer, Design and Manage – and these groupings within the Marine portfolio are reflected in this document. Those aspects that are common between most of the products are generally covered in the first part of the document.

Significant changes to this document introduced at service pack 5 are indicated thus: *12.1.SP5*.
