The size of curve direction arrows can be set using the available options:

Fixed Length

The Length (in the current units) entered is fixed (absolute).

%age of graphics view’s width

The length of the arrow is expressed as a percentage (%age) of an individual graphics view’s width. Thus it will vary when zooming in or out.
