Probabilistic General page

This dialog sets up the loading conditions to be analyzed. Currently the Cargo ship rules require two loading conditions and the Passenger ship and Harmonized rules, three. Clicking the Reset Conditions button, will set up default conditions according to the specified rules. However, the VCG's need to be entered.

Damage and Waves page

On the Damage and Waves page, select the damage conditions to be included in the analysis.

It is possible, to just select a few conditions, to make sure that all is well, before running the complete analysis.

Conditions are added and removed using the Add and Delete buttons, respectively.

The sum of the weight factors must be one.

If the assessment fails with the given VCG, then the program will try and lower the VCG until the ship passes, thus providing an estimate of the critical VCG. Note, however, that this will only be an indication, and the assessment should be re-run using this new VCG. The program will not lower the VCG below the minimum specified in the table.

The appropriate state of openings is selected in the combo box.
