Modify a Ceiling Fitting

If the currently selected Ceiling Grid on the main Ceiling Fitting Tasks window owns any Fitting elements, then these will be displayed in the Choose Fitting drop-down list under the Existing Fittings section of the window.

1. Selecting one of these will activate the Modify Fitting option beneath it and mark the Fitting in the 3D View with an aid graphic. Clicking Modify Fitting displays the Modify Ceiling Fitting window.

   

   The attributes of the selected Fitting populate the fields on the window.

   It is not possible to change a Fitting from being positioned according to a grid line to being positioned according to a grid cell and vice versa. As this would require the fitting and its owning element to be deleted, and re-created, this is not modification.

2. Checking the Remove Tile checkbox removes the selected tile when the user clicks Accept Changes. The Remove Tile checkbox is then replaced with the Restore Tile checkbox which allows the user to restore the deleted tile.

   Accept Changes	Commits any changes to the database.
   Discard Changes	Cancels the changes.
   Back to Fitting tasks	Displays the Ceiling Fitting Tasks window.
