Used to create an arbitrarily shaped spline or polyline (straight line segments) from all the data points entered in the dialog.
The User must enter the Curve Name Prefix, which will be used to form the curve name, and indicate if the curve is to be closed (Close Line), that means, the last data point given will automatically be connected to the first.
The points are entered in either cartesian (U & V) or polar (Radius & Angle) coordinates, that means, angular distance and the corresponding radius. On switching between the two types a conversion is performed.
Points are entered and edited via the available spreadsheet, which by default has 10 points listed ready for editing.
Points can be read in, from a file containing a list of coordinate pairs, by clicking Import... and selecting the required file.
The spreadsheet has a pop-up menu with the following options: COPY, PASTE, INSERT and DELETE, to help facilitate editing. If no current points exist (or no point is selected) then the pop-up will only show INSERT (adding a new point at the beginning or end respectively).
On clicking Apply a curve will be generated using all the points defined so ensure that all unwanted points are deleted.
