Locked Axes

Many curves (for example, Sections, Waterlines) in Lines are required to lie in the plane that is defined by a constant value of one of the coordinate axes. For example, all points on a section curve share the same x coordinate value.
To preserve this property, such curves cannot be edited in the direction of the constant value axis. Dragging points with the cursor will only affect the two coordinates that are not locked, likewise nudging with arrow keys. The coordinates of the locked axis appear greyed out in the Data Points and Control Points grids of the Data Bar.
