Shop Drawing Functions

The shop drawing functions are used to interactively create information on the shop drawing (burning sketch). The frame work of the shop drawing containing the tool path is generated during the verification ( Nesting Functions - VERIFY).

Automatic information in shop drawings

Specific production information such as bevel, excess, side can be added automatically to the burning sketch by applying a form to the sketch. The forms are in the same format as the standard drawing forms and are stored in the same data bank. To create, edit and add a form the Drafting functions for these tasks are used.

However there is a set of form rules that is nesting specific and will only work when a form is activated in nesting. For further information about how to create and use forms in the Nesting application. See Initializations for Nesting
