Control Node

A control node (CNODE) is a point that defines a position in space which can be used as an early aid to cableway routing. A control node element can exist below a Zone or CWAY.

Select Create > Control Node from the main menu to display the Create Control Node window.

Input a Control Node Name, Description, Function and Purpose for the new Control Node.
Note: The Control Node Name can be populated by clicking the Autonaming icon to the right of the text box.

The Control Node is positioned either by entering co-ordinates, or by clicking Pick Position and graphically selecting a position.

Select
to display the Offset By fields which allows you to enter offset values for the Control Node.

Select
again to return to the explicit position text fields.

Select Create Control Node to create the node. The Control Node appears in the 3D graphical view.

After create the Control Node, the Modify Control Node window is displayed.

Modify the Control Node and select Apply Changes to confirm the changes or Discard Changes to dismiss the changes.

Display the Modify Control Node window by picking a Control Node and selecting Modify > Control Node from the main menu bar.
Note: Route Nodes can be connected to a Control Node. For more information, see Create Route Node.
