Provide Feedback

After the import is successful, an Acknowledgement notification is sent to AVEVA Catalogue Manager. If not, an Error notification is sent.

The Acknowledgement or Error notification is picked automatically by AVEVA ERM and the published status of the specification is updated according to the feedback received from AVEVA Marine. This makes sure that after a specification is published, the same specification is not sent again until it is changed and approved.

While processing an Acknowledgement notification that has a value for the ExternalReferenceId field, the specification is assigned the External Reference, and the same value will be used for further transfers.

In case of an Error notification, you must republish the specification.
