This mathematical method has been developed using experimental test data on the VWS Hard Chine catamaran hull series '89 by Mueller - Graf References 18. Zips [References 19 used this data to provide a regression method for finding the resistance characteristics of semi-planing catamarans with similar characteristics to the series.
