This section describes the integration workflow for transferring pipes to AVEVA ERM. A similar workflow must be used for transferring HVAC.

Configure a filter for preliminary part list

You must configure a filter for the preliminary part list materials of the Pipe and HVAC. The Settings dialog box in AVEVA Marine contains the settings to configure a filter for the integration of pipes. For more information about the Filter Configuration tab, see .

The Select for Publish check box column allows you to view the selected information in the PreliminaryPartList tab of the Publish to AVEVA ERM dialog box. Select the check box for the required rows and click Save to save the configuration.

Update the status of the preliminary part list

In AVEVA Marine, a status called Pipe/HVACPublishingStatus is defined for the Pipe and HVAC elements. The preliminary part list must be progressed to IdentifiedPreliminaryPartList before publishing.

Publish the preliminary part list

Preliminary part lists satisfying the selection criteria can be exported to AVEVA ERM. The PreliminaryPartList tab in the Publish to AVEVA ERM dialog box displays the elements that satisfy the criteria in the first grid. The second grid displays a preview of the data that will be published for the selected element.

Select the required pipe and click Publish to publish the data to AVEVA ERM.

An Update notification is sent to AVEVA ERM. The Pipe/HVACPublishingStatus of the pipe is moved to PreliminaryPartListSentToERM.

Import the preliminary part list in AVEVA ERM

After the components are published by AVEVA Marine, the components are available for import in AVEVA ERM. An Update notification is received in AVEVA ERM.

To import the preliminary part list in AVEVA ERM, you must process the notification for Outfitting. The import of pipes can also be done without the Update notifications, using the s22050 Data Import screen.

The information about errors, if any, is displayed in the Audit Summary and Audit Detail grids. When import is completed in AVEVA ERM, the system generates two notifications, Acknowledgement or Error, according to the result of the import.

Verify the imported data in AVEVA ERM

After the preliminary part list is imported, AVEVA ERM creates or updates the pipe information accordingly. The s21000 Part Lists screen is updated with the pipe and the preliminary part list information.

The Pipe information is also available in the s20012 Drawing Catalogue screen.

Provide feedback on data consumption in AVEVA ERM

After the import is completed, the ‘Acknowledgement’ or ‘Error’ notifications are generated according to the result of the import and sent to AVEVA Marine.

Process the feedback in design application

After the import of data is complete, AVEVA ERM sends feedback on data consumption to AVEVA Marine using the notification mechanism. One of the following actions takes place in AVEVA Marine:

In case of an ‘Acknowledgement’ notification, the status of the component is promoted to PreliminaryPartListReceivedByERM if Promote Status is clicked.

In case of an ‘Error’ notification, the status of the component is demoted toRew ork if Demote Status is clicked.

Configure a filter for part list

You must configure another filter for transferring part lists.

The values of the fields in the Filter Configuration tab must be as follows:

Field

Value

List Based On

Part List

Select Element Type

Pipe HVAC

Status Definition

Pipe/HVACPulishingStatus

Filtering Status

/FabricationIdentified

Publishing Status

/FabricationSentToERM

Select Transfer List

PARTLISTDESIGN

Select the Select for Publish check box for the required rows and click Save to save the configuration.

Update the status of part list

After you have completed the fabrication, you must manually progress the Pipe to the

FabricationIdentified status using the Pipe/HVACPublishingStatus.

Publish the part list

All the part lists that satisfy the filtering criteria are now available for publishing to AVEVA ERM. The PartList tab in the Publish to AVEVA ERM dialog box displays the elements that satisfy the criteria in the first grid. The second grid displays a preview of the data that will be published for the selected element.

Select the required part list and click Publish to publish the data to AVEVA ERM.

An Update notification is sent to AVEVA ERM. The Pipe/HVACPublishingStatus of the part list is moved to FabricationSentToERM.

Import the part list in AVEVA ERM

After the components are published by AVEVA Marine, the components are available for import in AVEVA ERM. An Update notification is received in AVEVA ERM.

To import the pipes with the pipe spools in AVEVA ERM, you must process the notification for outfitting.

After the part list is imported, AVEVA ERM updates the pipe or HVAC information in the s21000 Part Lists screen by replacing the preliminary part lists with part lists. AVEVA ERM also creates the respective fabrication materials corresponding to the pipe or HVAC spool in the s21015 Fabricate Part Lists screen.

Provide feedback on data consumption in AVEVA ERM

After the import is completed, the ‘Acknowledgement’ or ‘Error’ notifications are generated according to the result of the import and sent to AVEVA Marine.

Process the feedback in AVEVA Marine

After the import of data is complete, AVEVA ERM sends feedback on data consumption to AVEVA Marine using the notification mechanism. One of the following actions takes place in AVEVA Marine:

In case of an ‘Acknowledgement’ notification, the status of the component is promoted to FabricationReceivedByERM if Promote Status is clicked.

In case of an ‘Error’ notification, the status of the component is demoted to PreliminaryPartListReceivedByERM if Demote Status is clicked.
