As mentioned above a case specifies the special numbering rules to be applied under chosen conditions. It specifies the following issues:

The interval of numbers that may be used for a certain part type (to be in compliance with the bundling, see above).

The criteria to be used in the sorting for each group of parts.
This is all controlled by the CASE statement. At least one CASE statement must exist in the set-up for the autopos function. The maximum number of cases are 12.
