Notch Along a Limit

  • Last UpdatedDec 04, 2025
  • 1 minute read

The notch is located at the intersection between a given limit (LIM) and a given one coordinate line.

<notch_along_limit>::=

      ,LIM=<limit_no>

      ,U|V|X|Y|Z= <coord> (1 ... 25)

      [,ALONG]

      (<limit_no>::= <integer>)

ALONG

Normally a notch is placed perpendicular to the limit. By giving this keyword the notch will be centered around the given line (that means, its v-axis will coincide with the line).

Example:

NOT, R50, LIM=1, Y=10000(400)12000;
