List of Cables

  1. Select List Associated Cables to display the List of Cables window.

    Note: From the main toolbar the user can select Query > List of Cables to open the list of cables window on the selected cableway branch in the hierarchy.

    The List of Cables form displays cables associated with the current cableway branch. The All Cables tab lists all the associated cables, Cable Passing tab lists all the cables that pass through current cableway branch and Cables Arriving/Leaving tab lists all cables that arrive to and leave from the current cableway branch.

    Information is also provided on the Cable, the Class Type, Start Ref, End Ref, Specification, Status, and Total Length of each cable.

    The List of Cables form displays cables associated with the current cableway branch.

    All Cables

    Lists all the associated cables.

    Passing Cables

    Lists all the cables that pass through current cableway branch.

    Incoming Cables

    Lists all the cables incoming from the head.

    Outgoing Cables

    Lists all the cables outgoing to the tail.

    Cables Arriving/Leaving

    Lists all the cables that arrive to and leave from the current cableway branch.

    Cables Fill Level

    Lists the fill level on the cables that are Passing, Incoming, Outgoing and Arriving/Leaving.

  2. Select CE (Current Element) to view the selected cable in the hierarchy and a description of the current element.

  3. Right-click on a cable to display a popup menu with the following options:

    Navigate

    Navigates to the selected cable in the explorer.

    Highlight

    Highlights the selected cable(s) in the graphical view.

    Unhighlight

    Removes the highlight from the cable(s) in the graphical view.

    3D View

    Allows the user to:

    Add Cable

    Adds the associated cable to the 3D view.

    Add Connected

    Adds the connection to the associated cable in the 3D view.

    Remove Cable

    Removes the associated cable from the 3D view.

    Remove Connected

    Removes the connection of the associated cable from the 3D view.

    Export to Excel

    Export the grid data to Excel.

    Print Preview

    Opens the Print Preview window.

    Modify Cable

    Open the Modify Cable window.

  4. From the Create Material window, select Create to create a new material main element in the Design Explorer. The Modify Material window is displayed.
