Default Values

Prior to any calculations, default values for the thickness, density, added weight for brackets, etc and added weight for stiffeners should be set. This can be done using the command syntax or from the Internals page of the Options dialog.
The commands to set the default values are:
WEIGHT SET DEFAULTS ENVELOPE $N $N $N $N
WEIGHT SET DEFAULTS TBHD $N $N $N $N
WEIGHT SET DEFAULTS LBHD $N $N $N $N
WEIGHT SET DEFAULTS DECK $N $N $N $N
where the four numbers are thickness, density, added weight for brackets, etc and added weight for stiffeners respectively.
This will set default values within the active document, values for which will be used when any new envelopes or internals are created.
Optionally, the values may be set using the dialog:

Figure 3:16. Options Dialog - Internals Page.
If values are set using this dialog with no open document, then values are obtained from and set in the registry. These values are then used as defaults values when a new document is created.
If this dialog is used when a document is open, then the initial values are taken from the document, and these may be changed, but only within the current document. Any envelopes and internals subsequently created will then use these values for thickness, density and added weights.
