Standard Tab (Ancillary Defaults)

The left hand side of the form lists the available MDS ancillary support standards.

• Hanger and trunnion support types are described in MDS Hanger Data Form and MDS Trunnion Defaults Form.

• MDS lighting support types are described in section MDS Lighting Support Defaults.

• MDS Structural Framework Support types are described in section MDS Structure Defaults Form.

The buttons below the list provide filtering on specific support types.

When a support type is highlighted, the support standard name, its replacement name and description appear at the top of the form. This information is outside of the tabbed areas and is displayed on all tabs.

The plotfile for the selected standard is displayed on the right of the form. To zoom in on an area of the plotfile, click and drag with the middle mouse button. To restore the original size, use the right-click menu and select Reset Limits.

The information on the form is grouped into two sections. Design detail in the Standard section applies to all signs of the component. The Bore Specific section contains data associated with the specified size (bore) of component.

The Apply button should be used before selecting another standard, otherwise any changes will be lost.
