Compensating Plates

The MDS application contains functionality to enable the creation and modification of compensating plates in order to fill any gaps between frameworks and ancillaries.
Compensating plate options, sizing rules and materials can be defined, refer to MDS Administrator Guide for further information.
The compensating plate functionality is available for the following framework supports:

Create a Compensating Plate

Select the Create Compensation icon
.

When prompted to identify the ATTA, make a suitable selection and the compensating plate will then be added to the framework and displayed in the 3D view.
Modify a Compensating Plate

Select the Modify Compensations icon
. The Compensation form is displayed.

Type a value into the Length or Width text fields to modify the compensating plate dimensions.

Select the appropriate material from the Matref drop-down menu.

Select the Display Dimensions checkbox to display the compensating plate dimensions in the 3D view.

Clear the checkbox to remove the compensating plate dimensions from the 3D view.

If the Default button is clicked the compensating plate is returned to the default settings.

If the Reset button is clicked the compensating plate is reset to the state prior to modifying.

Click Dismiss to close the Compensation form.
Delete a Compensating Plate

Select the Delete Compensation icon
.

When prompted to Pick compensation plate/profile or compensated ancillary, make a suitable selection.
The following Confirm message is displayed.

Click Yes to confirm the removal of the compensating plate from the framework support.
