Design Standards - Notches

Notches are normally small openings in edges and corners of panels and along traces of profiles. AVEVA Marine has a very large number of in-built notch types. Arbitrary sizes of

these notches can be generated if the user selects appropriate parameters.

Any open curve intersecting the outer contour of a panel (or edge of a profile web) can be used as a notch when the in-built standard is insufficient.

Quite new types of standard notches must be added by AVEVA.
