Create Hanger Zones

The user can create multiple Hanger Zones for the storage of hanger support elements.

1. Navigate to an appropriate SITE element and select Create > Zone from the main menu.

   The Create Zone form is displayed:

   

2. Type a name into the Name text field.

3. Click the Attributes button.

   The Attributes form is displayed:

   

4. Select the Purpose attribute and modify the value to HANG.

   HANG is the default value for a hanger zone stored in the MDS/APPDEFAULTS database. Refer to the MDS Administrator Guide for further information.

   

5. Click the Apply button and close the Attributes form.

   The user is returned to the Create Zone form.

6. Click the OK button, the Hanger Zone element is created in Design Explorer and displayed in the Default Creation Zone form:
