Links to Documents from Related Production Parts

A great number of different reports and sketches may be created by production programs.

All created reports and sketches are linked to related production parts.

This is implemented by applying the Link Documents mechanism. Refer to Database and Data Management / Database Management Reference Manual / Link Documents for further information.

Documents valid for a specific production part may be viewed by the following steps:

1. Bring up the Linked Documents dialog and mark Track CE (current element).

2. Indicate a production part in the Manufacturing Explorer.

   Currently related reports and drawings for the indicated part will appear in the Linked Documents dialog.

3. The reports and drawings may then be opened by right-clicking on the displayed link.
