Bevel Type 44

This bevel type is similar to bevel type 42 but used for fillet welding.

That bevel type is a variant of the asymmetric K-joint (bevel type 41) where the "V"-shaped opening on both sides are replaced by "U"-shaped openings. The length of the nose and the radius of the "U" may be defined on both sides.

Figure 1:31. Bevel type 44

Relevant parameters: a, b, H, GAP, NOSE, NOSE_LEN_A, NOSE_LEN_B, RAD, RADB

If NOSE=N (0<N<1) then the nose height will be calculated as NOSE=N*E (where E is the e-measure).

H may be given as two values: H = ( h, hf)

The second value is interpreted as a factor and H will be given the value

MAX (h, hf * E).
