Start the Application

Start the Design General Application (default start-up).

The Design General Application start-up form is displayed.

Select Design > Multi Discipline Supports¼ from the main menu

The start-up form re-initializes to become the MDS startup display, which includes all functions specific to the MDS application.

The system tests for the existence of the design template database /MDS/TEMPLATES and the /MDS and /MDF specifications. If neither of these exists, MDS entry is stopped, an error message is displayed, and you re-enter the Design General Application.

If this occurs, ask your administrator to add the owning databases to your MDB (Multiple Database).
