The SAC tab is used for the generation and storing of a series of SACs at different drafts and trims.
Use the SAC tab
-
Enter the required trim and prefix (maximum length of 3 characters) for naming each SAC, in the Trim and Prefix edit boxes respectively.
The Draft panel provides 3 options for generating SACs; these are Get Current, Fit Range and Fit Series, which enable single or multiple curves to be produced.
If the Normalised checkbox is selected, then SACs will be displayed normalised (maximum SAC 1.0).
-
Having selected the required option click the Calc button.
-
To view the SACs click the View button to set the current view (if this has not already been done) and then click Display.
The SACs will be displayed in the current view.
Hydrostatics for a currently selected SAC can be calculated for the full curve or between the specified limits, using the Aft and Fore check boxes and edit boxes.
-
Click the Hydro button in the Hydrostatics panel and the hydrostatic values will be displayed in the Output Window.
